When the current COVID-19 situation is over (and it will be sooner than you think), your team may need some support to re-align, re-energise and re-focus.  Non of us would have predicted a worldwide pandemic, and it has affected us all in very deep and personal ways.  During such a situation, team members go through stages of change management (shock, denial, loss of confidence, depression, crisis and acceptance) at different times and intensities (we are sure you can relate to these) and as we come out of the other side, we believe our Executive Retreats are a perfect opportunity for us to support your team to get re-aligned at the other side.  We use our coaching approach to help you re-energise and focus positively on what success looks like for the future.  

Over our decade of operation, we have taken managers and executives on retreats to a range of countries that include the UK, Italy, and South Africa.  We pay a lot of attention to the fine-details, which enables us consistently to go above and beyond our clients' expectations.

Our 4-day UK Executive Retreat is located in a private secluded farming estate in the North of Yorkshire, England.  The venue consists of 7 beautifully equipped cottages, each with several bedrooms, that are positioned around a fully equipped hall and set in peaceful gardens.  The programme (which can be tailored to our corporate clients' specific requirements) takes a holistic approach to healthy living, integrating relaxation/mindfulness activities (yoga, pilates, mindful meditation, gong therapy) with wider executive development the includes wellbeing, positive relationships, emotional intelligence, team-alignment and strategy.

The York Strategic Leadership Programme

This is one of our flagship programmes, offered to you in partnership with the University of York, UK.  The programme can be customised to the needs of your organisation and can be delivered at the York campus (fully managed by us) or in-house within your organisation.  We have run this programme as a 'fast-track' talent development programme for high-potential employees extremely successfully.

Founded on principles of excellence, equality and opportunity for all, the University of York opened in 1963.  Since then it has become one of the world's leading universities, carving out a reputation as an academic powerhouse where a clear focus on excellence has secured it national and international recognition.  A member of the the elite Russell Group of Universities, York has been ranked 12th in the UK in the 2019 Guardian University Guid and joint 9th in the European Teaching Rankings 2018.  In recent years it has won 5 prestigious Times Higher Education Awards that have included 'Outstanding Contribution to Leadership Development and University of the Year.'

The programme includes within it an initial TMSDI psychometric profile that gives participants a clear understanding of their team preferences.  This is supported by a coaching session with one of our fully accredited international assessors.  There are 2 further executive coaching sessions directly after the programme and 3 months after that, which support participants fully in their career and learning journey (and the impact they are having in the organisation).  The programme itself can be customised from 7-12 days and includes within it a number of contemporary leadership topics, delivered by international experts.  Topics include:

Upon successful completion, participants receive a University of York endorsed Certificate in Strategic Leadership (given to them during a graduation party at the end of the programme) and they are given the opportunity to complete an ILM level 7 qualification in Leadership and Management.

CMI (UK) & ILM (UK) Qualifications

We run management and leadership qualifications from the Chartered Management Institute, CMI (UK) and the Institute of Leadership & Management, ILM (UK).  Be prepared to be taken on a journey by our international facilitators where you will be examining your personal management/leadership style, how this relates to your team and the organisation as a whole.  We run qualifications at levels 3, 5 and & 7 (MBA level) of the UK qualifications framework and you will receive a 1 year associate membership of the CMI, UK once registered for their qualifications.  This allows you access to a wide range of online resources and latest international management/leadership tools, techniques and benchmarks.

Don't expect to be just sitting in a classroom as our delivery style is neither tradition or lecture style!  We use a range of run, interactive techniques that are grounded in contemporary theory and academic research that will challenge you and take you out of the box, but you are guaranteed to emerge with a renewed sense of self and positive confidence in your leadership style.

Young Person's Leadership Development Programme

This flagship programme has been born through having teenage children of our own, and one thing that we all want is the best for our children.  We have consistently heard feedback from other parents, and employers, that young people today need more support in the development of their personal drive, attitude and the leadership skills that will not only engage them in a purposeful life, but will prepare them to make informed career choices and to successfully make the transition into the workplace.  This programme is designed to give your teenagers a head start in life.

The programme (certified by the University of York, UK) ) equips young people with the skills, confidence, attitude and mindset to set appropriate goals for their future career and create solid foundations for a purposeful life.  We run programmes at several international locations (during school vacations).  They are based upon training, reflection, appropriate and stimulating outdoor and indoor team building challenge, personal coaching and mentoring support by University of York accredited and experienced professionals, using up to date interventions in a safe, enjoyable and disciplined environment.  For those 16+ year olds, there is also an opportunity to complete a project to get ahead with a Chartered Management Institute, UK qualification.

Young people come out of this programme feeling energised, purposeful and positive about the future!

Senior Women's Strategic Development Programme

Our years of experience of leadership development, training, seminars, coaching and consulting has consistently shown us that women tend to be particularly compassionate, emotionally intelligence, able to communicate well to reach consensus on decisions, they are well able to manage conflict and to mediate situations towards positive results; these are all key skills of effective leadership.  So why in organisations, cross-industries, across the world, are there still a disproportionate number of men to women in senior/executive management positions?  Why do women reach a glass ceiling and experience gender inequality in pay?  

We have developed a number of programmes that focus on women's leadership and empowerment, breaking down the keys to success for females growing into senior/executive positions within organisations.  We have identified the blockages and, through our executive coaching approach, combined with personal development planning and workshops we support female leaders in successfully climbing their 'ladder of success.'

We can deliver customised women's leadership programmes in-house for you (fully accredited by the University of York, UK with a qualification from ILM, UK), or we can organise for you to attend the Senior Women's Strategic Development Programme at the University of York, UK (customised to your requirements).  We have a network of industry collaboration in the UK, and whether you have 3 of 30 females leaders, the programme will involve a number of industry visits, where they will hear from some of the most qualified and experienced female Senior Executives in the country.  They will also experience how those organisations (cross-sectors) invest in gender diversity that helps their businesses perform better.
