Riding for the Disabled – Fund Raising
At Riding for the Disabled Association (RDA), their horses benefit the lives of over 25,000 disabled children and adults. With fun activities like riding and carriage driving, they provide therapy, fitness, skills development and opportunities for achievement – all supported by 18,000 amazing volunteers and qualified coaches at nearly 500 RDA centres all over the UK.
RDA is an inclusive and diverse organisation. They welcome clients with physical and learning disabilities and autism, and there are no age restrictions. Through their network of member groups, RDA is at work in every corner of the UK, in cities and remote rural areas, bringing the therapy, achievement and fun of horses to as many people as they can.
They are a charity and can only carry out our life-changing activities thanks to the generosity of donors, the dedication of their volunteers and the good nature of the fantastic horses.
Inspiring Minds Equestrian Coaching is our effort to raise funds for the RDA through workshops and master classes.
Inspiring Minds Equestrian Coaching has been developed for anyone wanting to improve their equestrian performance.
Sometimes this relationship can become strained and there are many reasons why riders lose trust and confidence in their ride. Sometimes it’s due to a fall or an accident and sometimes things just deteriorate for no apparent reason.
Whatever the reason for these riding problems and frustrations Inspiring Minds Equestrian Coaching can help. Feed-back from those who have undertaken the programme suggests that wider benefits can be achieved in work or personal life, with increased levels of confidence and self-esteem.
Techniques used in the Inspiring Minds Equestrian Coaching programme are adapted from NLP, Transactional Analysis, Buddhism, Yoga, Business Coaching and Sports Psychology.
The Inspiring Minds Equestrian Coaching programme has been written and developed for anyone who wants to improve their equestrian performance and for those who simply want to enjoy their riding and achieve harmony with their horse. Its straightforward and practical use of exercises and suggestions may lead you to experience benefits beyond your riding; in your private life, career, and your relationships or simply the way you feel about yourself in terms of raised self-confidence and self-esteem.
The Inspiring Minds Equestrian Coaching programme is delivered on a not for profit one-day workshop, class-room based and we also run master classes and conference/arena presentations. Prepare to be energized, motivated and also to dig deep! You’ll go away understanding the importance of ‘me time’, understanding why certain things have been happening between you and your horse and most importantly what you can do to improve your relationship with your equine friend.
All profits and donations for this programme go directly to the RDA.
